This week’s blog is the last one for a month.
Next week we are going to Venice to spend time at the Biennale and then we are off to Athens for a few weeks. The blog will be on hold until the middle of October, when we return with many new things to share.

Have a great trip and enjoy all there is to see! We have recently had a Biennale exhibition at Fabrik in the Adelaide Hills and it was amazing. Work from artists all over the world. Our most recent exhibition was a display of Liz Newman designed and hand knitted jumpers from the 1980/90s. Liz worked in Adelaide and her designs were very much inspired by local fauna and flora. She sent out her designs and a wool package to over 700 knitters who completed the garments. Many of those on display were recognised by the hundreds of visitors who attended the exhibition and shared stories of their experiences in knitting them, or buying them and wearing them.
What a great story, Susanne! One day we shall get over to see these things. It must have been a blast to see those jumpers.
