Hello everyone and welcome to the new blog, coming to you from The Textile Trust, Aotearoa.

Each blog will have news from near and far, of the happenings in the studio in Māwhera Greymouth on the West Coast of Te Waipounamu/ the South Island of New Zealand, and from other parts of the world. The newsletter is sent out at 11am New Zealand time on Sunday morning so it will be ready for a bit of light reading on the weekend.

The blog is part of the new website for the Trust. It is a work in progress; many of you have given opinions and thoughts that will be implemented as things move ahead so thank you. Over the next few weeks the site will become a place for learning, sharing and enjoying the textile world. I hope you enjoy being part of the adventure and discovery.
